| What is the difference between Swift 3D and Font FX? |
The primary difference between these two products is that Swift 3D is a full 3D modeling program that is meant to be a tool that allows designers to enhance their Flash-based websites through the inclusion of 3D animation. Swift 3D exports to both vector file formats (swf, ai, and eps), as well as a variety of bitmap formats (including a raster-based SWF file).
Font FX exports only to raster-based files (jpg, gif, png, etc.), making it better suited for HTML-based websites or print media. It features a raster rendering engine and is designed to be an introductory type program for the manipulation/animation of fonts and extrusion. |
